As we accumulated more and more input from other people and included it within our internal model of the world we innocently began building a cage for ourselves.
Do you live bothered by self doubts because of negative descriptions, assessments and/or guidance received from others? Imagine constantly remembering past criticisms and lack of love.
Many of us long for release knowing that somehow it should be possible. Most are not aware that the limitations to inner freedom are only internal models constructed from inferior input and not reality.
Most people live within an internal cage for the whole of their lives. But they can break free.
However there are fortunate people whose wings were never clipped. Perhaps they were nurtured or influenced by others who were themselves aware that any limited view of Self is only an illusion.
Perhaps their own sense of Self was strong enough to survive negatives that were sent their way. Words that are capable of giving wings can be understood by such people because they feel familiar and fitting and are welcome.
They are words we should use more often ,words of love, encouragement, kindness, support, creativity, vitality, harmony, humour, faith, compassion, new horizons, freedom, beauty, optimism, appreciation, liberation, wonder and many others.
And there are words expressed as philosophy or insight, positive words of aspiration and words of hope. They are words that we can include in conversations and self-talk.
Think of the sorts of sentences and judgments that are stored away inside your own memory files. If they make you think less well of yourself you can be assured experiences within your own Internal Church will remove their sting and render them harmless.
