The search for new knowledge is an expression of the primal creative force - Deogenic.

Our hunger to know increasingly includes a scientific focus on our minds, emotions and spiritual life. Science now includes research into the meditating mind and religious and psychic experience. In earlier centuries this was claimed to be the exclusive domain of religion. People were burnt at the stake for disagreeing. Human curiosity and the need to know and understand ourselves and our worlds eventually broke free of dogma. We now have imaging technology which can 'see' the brain in action as it thinks, imagines, sleeps, creates, reasons, meditates or malfunctions.

Researchers are now studying happiness, how we can have more of it in our lives and how we can achieve optimum performance in whatever we do. The psychology of human potential has become a major field of study. In the realm of physics some scientists, creatively active in spiritual matters, now assert that the universe itself is conscious.

The Internal Church takes the view that the curiosity and creative drive that is typical of an active human mind is a spiritual quality. It is God's Creative Power expressing itself through living beings. Creativity and its essential moral component of compassion are keys to spiritual development and epiphanies.

The universe continues to evolve and so do we. The creation of the universe has always been open ended. It continues and it includes every one of us. Our creativity and drive to understand and develop ourselves and care for the world around us is the local face of God's Creative Force that never stops expressing itself.
 

When creativity and established beliefs come into conflict unpleasant things can happen. This is not confined to religion. It happens in any area of life including science. When a creative mind examines scientific theories, religious and spiritual matters, methods of healing, political issues and even approaches to fine art the current orthodox views resist. It is a natural reaction to the new and unexpected. But change continues to occur. It has been that way since the beginning of the universe. Creativity is Deogenic and will express itself.

The Internal Church is not interested in being critical of others. It recognises that we are all in the same situation. We are all doing what we can with what we think we are and what we think we have. The Internal Church recognises that creativity is a spiritual activity .

With regard to morality The internal Church simplifies the matter by focussing on compassionate behaviour. If you behave as compassionately as you can as often as you can, others cannot expect more.

The more compassionate you are the more spiritual you are. The more creative you are the more spiritual you are. The more you seek to understand the world, the universe, life itself - or anything else - the more spiritual you are. The more you seek within yourself to release your talents and find new levels of ability, the more spiritual you are. These activities all resonate with the fundamental, creative nature of the universe and God Itself.

Creative Spiritual Power, God Power, that drives the universe drives you. You can tune into It and draw upon Its creative and supportive nature and energies. You can express more of It in your daily life. God's Creative Force empowers you. You are Deogenic.
